The Role
As IT Manager you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the company's technological future.
Managing a service desk team of two, you'll develop and maintain a deep understanding of Rationale's IT systems, infrastructure, commercial strategies, and business processes.
This role offers the unique opportunity to lead meaningful IT initiatives across all facets of the business while supporting future growth plans globally.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting IT projects across the business
- Managing service desk function and infrastructure workflow
- Putting forward recommendations for system improvements
- Ensuring IT systems meet current business requirements and support future global growth
- Maintaining current, up-to-date, and secure systems
- Serving as the escalation point for IT support issues
- Providing IT guidance, support, and mentorship to team members and the wider business
- Working with third-party vendors and partners
What You Bring To The Role
- Experience working in a retail/supply chain environment (essential)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows environments and Windows Server (Windows 7/8/10)
- Experience with Apple hardware, including iOS and MacOS devices
- Knowledge of Microsoft AD and Azure
- SQL database and data manipulation skills (CSV, TSV, XML, XLS)
- Experience with NetSuite ERP and Shopify platforms
- Understanding of POS systems in a retail environment
- Previous experience leading and growing a team
- Strong IT project management and change management capabilities
- Business analysis, software implementation, and integration expertise
- Networking knowledge including IP addressing, firewalls, RDP, etc.
- Programming/scripting abilities
- Relevant qualification in IT/Computer Science
- A collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
