As part of this growth, they are looking for an IT Manager to take a leading role in evolving their technology environment and supporting the next chapter.

The Role

This is a hands-on, end-to-end IT leadership role where you will play a key part in shaping how the business operates and scales, working closely with leadership to drive technology decisions.

You will:

  • Take a leading role in managing Micro Image’s IT infrastructure, systems and production environment, where data is the core product.
  • Review, optimise and uplift the entire tech stack and workflows across the business, incorporating AI to improve internal and external facing solutions.
  • Lead the implementation of client-facing IT solutions, including IDP, OCR and capture workflows, email ingestion and routing and SaaS document platforms.
  • Work with large-scale data environments (high-volume image processing, storage, backup and delivery)
  • Oversee software delivery to clients (Azure, AWS, SFTP environments)
  • Drive automation across the full client lifecycle, from capture through to delivery
  • Lead and deliver IT projects end-to-end, from scoping and design through to implementation and training
  • Act as the IT escalation point and support the IT and infrastructure function
  • Build and improve processes, governance and compliance frameworks
  • Partner closely with leaders and the broader business to ensure IT initiatives align with commercial goals and growth plans

What You Bring To The Role

You are a hands-on IT professional who thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment and enjoys working closely with stakeholders to deliver practical outcomes.

You will bring:

  • Strong experience across Microsoft environments (Windows, Server, Active Directory, Azure)
  • Solid capability with SQL Server and relational databases
  • Experience managing large data volumes (including image-based data)
  • Exposure to backup and storage systems (e.g. Datto, NAS environments)
  • Proven ability to deliver complex IT projects end-to-end
  • Experience with networking fundamentals (IP, firewalls, RDP, etc.)
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks, ideally within government or enterprise environments
  • Ability to work with data formats (CSV, XML, XLS, etc.)
  • Strong process improvement and business analysis skills

Highly regarded:

  • Experience with automation, scripting or programming
  • Exposure to SaaS platforms or software delivery environments
