The Story

Join this successful retail business comprised of a number of brands, acknowledged as the market leaders within the Australian retail space.  They have a vast store network across the APAC region, with an exciting growth trajectory.

The Role

This role will be a 6-month+ daily rate contract delivering enterprise planning solutions using TM1 Planning Analytics as the core platform in a retail environment.   The role will have an SAP Finance Forecasting and Merchandise Planning modules focus.

 

Day to day will include:

 

  • gathering requirements, workshops, process analysis
  • process mapping & BPR
  • preparing appropriate documentation and business walkthroughs to underpin development
  • collaborating with process owners to develop process, business rules, UI, solution options & mid-level and low-level designs
  • acting as liaison between the business & IT
  • leading the system & UAT test function - including writing test scripts, test data and supporting the business testing
  • developing documentation (system, business & training) to lead knowledge transfer for the business

 

What You Bring To The Role

The right person for the role will be an experienced BA and have deep merchandise planning experience  - planning, assortment, allocation, and merchandise financial planning alongside retail-specific processes beyond general financial planning.

Must-haves for the role include: 

 

  • 5+ years BA experience
  • Retail industry experience and understanding of Finance Forecasting, Merchandise Planning & Retail Maths
  • Experience working with TM1 Planning Analytics or other enterprise planning tools will be highly regarded
  • Ability to capture clear requirements from your stakeholders and work through ambiguity
  • Ability to encapsulate process & solution design into good UI
  • Good MS Word and MS Excel skills - the required documentation is likely to include a mixture of Word & Excel to mock up requirements, process, solution design, reports & UI
  • Good experience across the SDLC including leading the testing phase – IT & business facing
  • Strong skills re relationship building and customer-service
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
